Threats to the Rainforest

There are many types of threats to the rainforest, both natural and human. Humans, unfortuantly are the biggest predators to the rainforest Every day a piece of the rainforest the size of a football field is cut down every day. That's almost 31 MILLION football fields of rainforet cut down every year. (Threats to the Rainforest, 1) There are so many organizations in the world that are designed to help make people aware of what is happening in the rainforest and getting more people to join in and hep save the rainforest. A few organizations that I came across while researching this project were www.kidssavingtherainforest.org and www.savetherainforest.org. The rainforest is a portal to many resourses that could help prevent or cure some of the side effects of cancer and are the homes to hundreds of thousands of plants and animals. So join in with the millions of people who are working their hardest to save the rainforest from its natural predators, us.
